It’s out with the old and in with the new!
Homefeeling had been badly burnt by digital agencies that overcharged and underserved, previously. They needed a trusted, reliable agency to build a high-performance eCommerce platform that was ready to hit the ground running when the electricals retailer launched its own brand of home appliances, Willow.
The Problem.
Ensuring that the site was not only thoughtfully designed but also fully populated in time for the planned brand launch gave us a tough yet crucial deadline to meet. But we thrive on challenges, and we were determined to deliver.
While getting homefeeling.co.uk up, running, and fully operational for eCommerce was our primary goal, we knew that its back-end functionality had to be just as robust. From day one, the site needed to streamline internal operations, allowing the business to scale smoothly. By automating and simplifying day-to-day tasks, we were able to significantly reduce the manual workload for the in-house team, allowing them to focus on higher-value activities while ensuring smooth, efficient operations from the outset.
Our Solution
With a focus on building the new site’s Search Engine Optimisation scores, and passing the Google’s page speed score, in particular, we added additional consumable content, FAQs on each category page and integrated WordPress, so the SEO blog content fed into the site.
The clean, efficient, customer-centric Magento 2 website was fully editable by the client, ready to hand over at launch. Pre-populated data fields pulled in data, such as in-depth product specifications, dimensions, delivery information; this hugely reduced data entry and website management for the client.
As always, our expert eCommerce developers were fixated on conversion rate optimisation.
Boosting engagement and improving the user journey with simplified navigation mega-menus and instantly recognisable graphic and animation touchpoints, we delivered a super-fast page load speed, displaying the user’s search results at pace.
